Ominimo and Carglass have entered into a partnership in which Carglass becomes Ominimo's partner for windscreen repair and replacement. This means that customers whose insurance covers glass damage can have common stone chips repaired and windscreens replaced through Carglass's nationwide network. Carglass Sweden is part of Belron, a global network that carried out more than 17 million repairs and replacements in 42 countries last year. In Sweden, Carglass has over 120 workshops in around 100 towns.

For Ominimo, the partnership is a way to make claims for glass damage faster and smoother for customers, while choosing repair over replacement whenever possible. This cuts the carbon footprint of a glass claim by more than 80 percent compared with a full replacement. When a replacement cannot be avoided, Belron recycled 98 percent of all vehicle glass it handled worldwide in 2025. This means that discarded windscreens can become materials such as building insulation and road surfacing instead of ending up in landfill.

By choosing repair over replacement whenever possible, Ominimo aims to keep both the cost and the environmental impact of glass damage as low as possible across its Swedish business.
